WILDLIFE IN SOUTH AFRICA
| Wildlife in South Africa occur in a varying range
of habitats. Various factors including variations in climate
such as temperature and rainfall affect the distribution of
wildlife directly and indirectly. Human encroachment also plays
an important role.
South Africa has seven major vegetation biomes. They are Desert, Savanna, Grassland, Succulent Karoo, Nama-Karoo, Forest and Fynbos.
